Indian Prime Ministerial Candidate

I was downloading a bug tracking tool from SourceForge.net and I saw indian political banners advertisements. Advertising online is not very new or unusual to the indian political scene. I tracked a congress adwords campaign back in 2004. However, this time BJP seems to have taken a lot of lessons from Obama’s campaign. L.K. Advani as a Prime Ministerial Candidate. In his short speech, he is urging people to bring in “change”. We’ll know at the end of 2009 elections what works in India.

Startup Lesson: Get Your Customers Early

Friday, February 6th, 2009

For a startup to succeed it is ideal to follow a non-linear approach from idea to market. In other words, if you know who will consume your product or service you don’t have to wait until your offering is ready to sell.

Getting customers early (during your planning or development days) will do great and even bring you funds. In this post, I will provide you with case study of LifeMojo, recent startup based out of Bangalore.

LifeMojo is a Preventive Healthcare platform that helps you stay fit by helping you eat right. It is a team of 3 enthusiastic developers/entrepreneurs. They started the company by pooling in their personal savings but knew they have to get it right before they drain away their savings. Time was crucial.

Oh, snap! We couldn’t find you! / Twitter

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

I happened to delete a twitter account that was associated with my gmail id. Few months later, I decided to open another account using the same gmail id and it wouldn’t let me do it. If I use forgot password, it would throw up an error “Oh, snap! We couldn’t find you!”.

I understand it deleted my account and that blocked my username and email address. There is no way I can retrieve it back. Oh, snap!
