Like all other electronic gizmos this will be cheaper, won’t it be? How much more is the owner of the set going to spend for the net access and stuff like that? I think, Apple has to think about this. It cannot just depend on US subsidy and stick to that.

Apple is not selling to India’s customers at an excessively high price. The carriers are the ones gouging their customers with the high price – which is not Apple’s price.

India’s carriers should subsidize the iPhone. Then the price in India would be in line with every other country in the world.

30% import duty is what you are really complaining.
So complain to Indian government to not tax for luxury item.
12.5% VAT is also not factored it.
How about the need for a computer otherwise it is worthless.
Did you add that up also.

In America if you add $100 per month for 24 months gets you what.
