I have written over 160 poems in hindi and english put together. And now I have begun an attempt to translate/write in German (Deutsch). It’s part of the process of learning the language. I have received great support from my friend Tina and my German teacher in Chennai. I know I don’t have too many german readers on my blog now but here is what I look forward to do during most of 2007.

lass uns im Regen spazieren
lass uns nass werden
lass uns hören was jeder Tropfen zu sagen hat
lass uns Hände halten, auf ewig
Komm,
lass uns wieder Liebe machen
in diesem Regen

lass uns wieder Regen machen
mit dieser Liebe.

Mere lautne ka sabab na puchon
in askhon se hisaab na puchon
kore kaagaz ko dastaan suna behte
in aankhon se sawal na puchon
zikr kiya karti thi duniya
sochte rahe tumko, logo se na puchon
waqt ke daayrein me musafir ki tarah
main ajnabee nahi, mera naam na puchon
